Aaron Rodgers (born December 2, 1983) is an American football quarterback of the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League (NFL). Rodgers was in the first round (24th overall) selected the 2005 NFL Draft by the Packers. Rodgers played college football, while at the University of California, Berkeley, where he held several California Golden Bears records, including lowest interception rate at 1.43%.

Professionally, Aaron Rodgers is the NFL all time leader in career passer rating of both during the regular season (103.4), and in the postseason (112.6) – among passers with at least 1,500 pass attempts and 150 respectively. He also has the lowest league career intercepted pass percentage for quarterbacks in the regular season (1.84%).

Early years
Aaron Rodgers was in Chico, Butte County, California, was born. He visited Vose Elementary School and Whitford Middle School in Beaverton, Oregon, played baseball in the Raleigh Hills Little League at positions shortstop, center field and pitcher. He returned to Chico in 1997 and attended Pleasant Valley High School, beginning two years past as a quarterback and 4421-meter anchor. Aaron Rodgers set single-game record of six touchdowns and 440 all-purpose yards. Rodgers also a single-season record with 2466 total yards in 2001 and graduated in spring 2002.

High school career
2002
Despite his record-breaking statistics, Aaron Rodgers gained little interest from Division I programs to compete with only one offer for a scholarship as a walk-on from Illinois. He declined the invitation, and to study as an exit from football to Law School. He was then hired to play football at Butte Community College in Oroville, a local junior college about 15 miles (25 km) southeast of Chico. In his first season, Aaron Rodgers threw 28 touchdowns while leading Butte to a 10-1 record, the NorCal Conference championship and a No. 2 national ranking. During this time, Rodgers was the Bears head coach Jeff Tedford, the recruitment of Butte tight end Garrett Cross was discovered. 2003
As a junior college transfer, Aaron Rodgers had three years at Cal claim. He was the quarterback in the fifth game of the 2003 season, the only chance against the team that offered him an opportunity to Division I from the High School, Illinois. The second album, he helped lead the Golden Bears to a 7-3 record as a starter. Prior to then-No. USC is ranked 3 in his second career start, led Rodgers lead the team to a 21-7 half-time before he replaced due to injury in the second half of Reggie Robertson. 2004
As a junior, Aaron Rodgers led Cal to a 10-1 record and top-five ranking at the end of the regular season, with their only loss coming in a hard-fought and well played game at No. 1 USC, 17-23. In this game, Rodgers set a school record for consecutive passes completed with 26 and tied an NCAA record with 23 consecutive passes completed in a game. Rodgers set a school single game record for passing completion of the final 85.3% of his passes in the game. Aaron Rodgers also holds the school career record for lowest percentage of passes intercepted at 1.95%. In spite of these records was the Bears first and goal with 1:47 still no points and was a winning touchdown. The game-ending sequence including three incomplete passes and a sack of USC.
